What do you need to start investing ?
You need a Good Broker.
Where you can open your Demat and trading account.
To start investing in the stock market, the number one thing that is needed is a good broker. There are many brokers out there. Finding the broker which is best for you is important.
There are two types of brokers available in the market.
One is Discount Broker.
Another is a full-service broker.
A discount broker is something that is gaining popularity in the stock market. It gives Zero brokerage in delivery( holding overnight position. )
The difference between a discount broker and a full-service broker is that a full-service broker provides you tips from time to time. And will charge some fee for that.
A discount broker is much clearer in this. they will not provide any type of tips.
Some of the best discount brokers in India are. Zerodha, Upstok, and 5 Paisa.
There are many others but these are major among all and more reliable.
I have accounts with Zerodha and Upstox.
But among these two, if you will give me a choice to choose one. I will choose Zerodha.
It is the best Broker in India.
Open an account with Zerodha and you will never be disappointed.
You can read more from their website. I don’t want to repeat that again here.

You can start investing with as low as ₹ 1000.
But the reasonable amount of money you can start with is ₹ 10,000. It is that much amount average middle-class children can arrange.
You can either save it or you can take it from your parents.
Most of the time Indian parents do not give money to invest in the stock market things. So better save from your pocket money.
I started investing when I was in college. 2nd year. For the first three years, no one knew I invested in the stock market.
I started saving my pocket money. I was in the hostel. Bills for food and accommodation are already paid. So my expenses are little to nothing.
All the expenses were for movie tickets, food, fun, and clothes. Which I avoided for a few years.
I put most of my money directly into my Demat account. And with this, I made my initial capital.
I know that was not enough, but I learned a lot.
In those years I have ample free time. In my free time, I read a lot. I learned everything I needed to learn about investing. All the basics.

So, you don’t need much money to invest in the stock market. You can invest as much as it costs you to buy one share of stock.
If the price of one stock is ₹ 100 then you need ₹100. The price of any stock is ₹ 1000 then you need ₹ 1000. It is that simple.
Never stress too much about money. Focus more on learning.
That is something more important.
